Governors at Walford and North Shropshire College have approved a £100,000 investment at the Oswestry Campus to provide the first phase of a new suite of hospitality and catering facilities. The new facilities will include a specialist teaching kitchen with the second phase to include a training restaurant which will be open to the public.

Students on the Entry Level/Level 1 Vocational Studies Programme, recently held a Sustainability Week Event at the College. There was a coffee morning with cake sales, recycled products, a football shoot-out competition and all funds went to charity. Today Lynsey Kilvert, Area Fundraiser for Hope House dropped in to collect the money and also to talk to the students about the Hospice and where monies are spent and how important it is that donations such as this keep coming in. A big well done to the students!
