University courses delivered at the College

Walford and North Shropshire College is committed to maintaining and extending the range of higher education courses available to students who wish to live and study locally. The College has well established links with Staffordshire University as a member of the Staffordshire University Regional Federation (SURF) and the Lifelong Learning Network (LLN) for Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin.

We are also working in collaboration with a range of partners to develop new opportunities to pursue higher education locally. This collaboration includes Harper Adams University College, Shropshire Council and their partner provider, Edge Hill University.

The main qualification route available through the College at higher education level is the Foundation Degree. In addition to this, the College offers the full range of teaching qualifications for the lifelong learning sector, up to the Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector.
