Oswestry Sixth Form Centre

Oswestry Sixth Form Centre offers some of the best educational facilities in Shropshire – an exciting, modern campus on a shared site with the superb, purpose-built Oswestry Leisure Centre.

Our purposeful learning environment provides an excellent range of classrooms and well-resourced learning facilities including new dedicated study centres for Sixth Form students.

Specialist facilities include: dedicated art studio, with ceramics and photography facilities; six computer classrooms plus graphics/multimedia workshop with a suite of Apple Macs; specialist theatre and performing arts areas; new training restaurant and teaching kitchen.

We are well equipped to provide for students with disabilities, with the campus fully accessible.

As your local College, with a wide network of transport links, we are easy to get to, allowing you to concentrate on your studies rather than the journey to and from College.

Within the campus there is a choice of places to eat and drink (restaurant or snack service), a shop open all day during term time and the new Visage commercial salon in the atrium.

We provide a range of enrichment opportunities designed to take advantage of the fantastic leisure facilities on our doorstep, and an outstanding range of overseas trips (many subsidised through our European grant-funded Leonardo projects).

Internet access is increasingly important to our students, not least to access Moodle (our virtual learning environment). We have over 300 PCs linked to superfast broadband, along with numerous wi-fi zones within the College.
